About
It’s pronounced pray-goo.
The radius of Bulla’s life extends only a few blocks, stretching from where she was born and raised, to where she went to college, to where she now resides. Her best friend, Brie Wendall, travels in an equally small circle. For these two, life begins and ends in the quiet college town of Prague, Illinois and, for the most part, they are fine with that.
Then Pull shows up, claiming to be Bulla’s overdue bogey monster. Mischief follows closely behind, as well as more boarders at 1322 Knob Lick Lane. The pair finds the strange and new now residing along side the comfortable and old, as well as a wider world that exists beyond — and within — their own.
The Locals:
- Our heroine. Has a knack for mixology and a lack of belief in the supernatural. Tends bar at the Dog & Pony and resides with Brie at 1322 Knob Lick Lane.
- Our hero. Loves pretty dresses and good times. May not have a direction in life, but at least he has his trust fund, and Bulla, to take care of him.
- A diminutive bogey monster. Although well-educated in Human Studies, his information seems out-dated or just plain wrong.
- Brie's girlfriend and ower of the local, used book store. Can't seem to cut her over-bearing, conservative mother's apron strings.
- Chad: Owner of The Dog & Pony pub, good friend of Bulla and Brie, and Bulla's boss as well. In love with Bulla, but the girl's clueless. Damn.
Janey: Youngest of Chad's siblings. Smart, cute, and persistent: the perfect obnoxious-little-sister trifecta.
- Lead singer of the local, fourth-wave-ironically-trying-to-be-first-wave indie punk band "Zarathustra Says So." Likes Chad, hates Bulla, and generally does what she can to cause trouble.
- Friend to Bulla and Brie and a regular at the D&P. An abrasive music snob and talented musician who can't seem to find serious work due to said personality.
- Another D&P regular. Teased mercilessly by Bulla and Brie as a child and still is, although now under the guise of friendship.
